February 27th was the third annual Renewable Energy Day at the New Mexico State Legislature. The Global Warming Express was at the Roundhouse in force to join the gathering of legislators, advocates, educators and youth. The event was a celebration the ways renewable energy and energy efficiency benefit our economy, our society, and our planet. Among the many features of the event were a kids’ ecological art table, electric cars and solar ovens on display, and lobbyist training provided by the Sierra Club.
