Raton’s GWEers get unanimous vote to fund recycling bins by local Rotary Club!
Raton’s Global Warming Express group presented a project proposal for putting recycling bins at Raton Intermediate School to their local Rotary Club on May 7th. After the 2023-2024 school year wrapped, the Rotarian’s voted unanimously to provide the funding needed to procure the bins! At the beginning of next year, Raton Intermediate School will begin recycling plastics one and two and have the bins picked up by city staff to empty at a local recycling center.
