In February 2022, due to Covid restrictions, Sierra Woosley, one of the GWE’s strongest activists, was not able to attend the New Mexico Legislature’s Environment Day, to give a speech, as she usually does.
The GWE Outdoor Program at
Nina Otero Elementary School in Santa Fe!
The Outdoor Program at Nina Otero was started by two new GWE Mentors. For their final day of the program, the kids drew really large chalk images on the concrete near their field area. This is a photo of Annia, Ximena and Ashley, after they completed their artwork!
